China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo will be held in Changsha, Hunan Province in June 2023

China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the People's Government of Hunan Province. It is held every two years and is committed to creating a new mechanism for China-Africa economic and trade cooperation, a new platform for the implementation of economic and trade measures of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, and China's local economic and trade cooperation with Africa A new window. The China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo has been successfully held for two sessions in June 2019 and September 2021 respectively. The parties in China and Africa have signed a total of 216 projects with a total amount of US $43.02 billion. The results of the two sessions have been pragmatic and fruitful.
The third China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo will be held in Changsha, Hunan Province in June 2023. The theme of the Expo is "Seek Common Development and Share the Future", and implement the spirit of the 8th Ministerial Conference of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation. The implementation of the important measures of the "Nine Projects" of China-Africa cooperation will hold various activities with various forms and rich content. At that time, Chinese and African politicians, envoys, representatives of international organizations, financial institutions, entrepreneurs, business associations, experts, scholars, and media representatives from all walks of life will gather in Changsha to participate in the grand event.
1. Holding time: June 29-July 2, 2023, 4 days in total
Among them, only professional visitors can enter the exhibition hall from June 29 to 30, and the public open day from July 1 to 2.
main exhibition hall uses 6 single exhibition halls and an outdoor central square for exhibitions, with an exhibition area of about 80000 square meters. During the exhibition period, a special area will be set up in the main exhibition hall to provide venues for exhibitors and purchasers to hold new product launches, enterprise promotion meetings, supply and demand meetings, project signing ceremonies and other activities. The sub-pavilions mainly use the permanent pavilions of the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo for exhibitions. The exhibition area of the main exhibition hall is set as follows:
1. Comprehensive exhibition hall. Mainly arrange China-Africa economic and trade cooperation achievement exhibition (including China-Africa economic and trade cooperation case program exhibition, China-Africa economic and trade in-depth cooperation pilot area exhibition), China-Africa women's innovation and entrepreneurship achievement exhibition, guest country image exhibition, theme province image exhibition, central enterprise image exhibition, etc.
2. African Enterprises and Commodities Pavilion. It mainly displays African brand goods, specialty food and agricultural products, daily consumer goods, cultural tourism, financial and other services. Strengthen cooperation with investment and trade promotion agencies and business associations of African countries, and facilitate buyers and traders to negotiate and connect with exhibitors by printing and publishing exhibitor lists and product lists online in advance.
3. China Enterprises and Commodities Pavilion. Focusing on remanufacturing, health, consumer electronics, sports and tourism, agriculture, auto parts, etc., other display directions and contents include food and agricultural products, light industrial daily necessities, mechanical and electrical products, mining industry chain, service trade, etc.
4. China's local provincial and municipal pavilions. It mainly displays the overall image of China's local provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, the achievements of economic and trade cooperation with Africa and key enterprises in the region.
5. Domestic and foreign trade integration hall. Build a platform for domestic and foreign trade integration and consumption upgrading, and support foreign trade enterprises to expand the domestic market.
6. Outdoor exhibition area. Construction machinery, agricultural machinery, automobiles and other large exhibits are arranged in the outdoor exhibition area.
